ESL

English as a Second Language is an integral part of our curriculum offering which is compulsory to all students whose first language is not English. Lucton Chongqing offers high quality ESL teaching which ensures that the English capability of our students is enhanced along with their academic learning.

The required ESL teaching hours for each student will be discussed by the Admissions Committee and approved by the parents before the offer is issued. We aim to stretch all students to be better in English and intensive one-to-one lessons will be provided. Students will also be arranged to take various English tests (such as IELTS and TOEFL) to prepare for the applications to worldwide universities during the language studying.
