In the new term, Year 12 students have entered the A-Level stage of their studies. Every May and June is Lucton's subject selection time. Under the joint study, discussion and planning of subject teachers, Careers Guidance Counsellors, parents and students, students choose different courses according to their own characteristics, and make the best subject choices suitable for their future career paths.

Lucton School Chongqing offers a wide and varied choice of subjects, with a high level of attention to each student and the concept of teaching according to aptitude.
Subjects offered at A-Level include: English as A Second Language, Chinese First Language, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Business Studies, Economics, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Art and Design, Biology, Psychology and Media Studies.
Psychology and Media Studies, which are new A-Level subjects, have been very popular with many students.

There are 14 IGCSE subjects, including both compulsory and optional subjects. During the IGCSE programme, students will learn to understand what they are good at, what they like, and what they want to do in the future. This is a solid preparation for the next step of A-Level selection.
