The results of the 2022 Australian Mathematics Competition, AMC, were announced recently. Congratulations to Sylva H and Daisy H, students of the Lucton School Chongqing, for their excellent performance and they have been awarded Distinction and Credit correspondingly.
About AMC
AMC, held by AMT, Australian Mathematics Trust, is a one the largest and most world-renowned mathematics competition for students.
Based at the University of Canberra with representatives on our board from the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers, Australian Academy of Science and the Australian Mathematical Society, the Australian Mathematics Trust, AMT, is a national not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is to enrich the teaching and learning of mathematics for students of all standards. AMT holds mathematics and informatics competitions, administers enrichment activities, conducts workshops for students and teachers, and publishes books on mathematical enrichment for students around the world.
Students from over 32 countries around the globe has participated in the AMC. New type of questions and multilingual test have enabled math enthusiasts around the world to discuss together, learn from each other, and deeply understand the importance of mathematics in life.
Good things come in pairs! Congratulations to Ray S's success in qualifying for the Semi-Finals of International Voice 2022. His works have been included in the International Voice music platform and will continue to compete with excellent participants from all over the world. We are all proud of his bravery and excellent performance!
At Lucton School Chongqing, we will continue to focus on the development students' learning, critical thinking ability and talents in different aspects, encourage them to show their talents on various stages, increase their international competition experience, and accumulate their international learning and competition background.
