In the last academic year, students of Lucton School Chongqing studied hard. In this summer, they achieved great results! They will start a new academic year with a solid foundation for the next A-Level stage.

In language category, in Chinese, 100% of students obtained A*-B; in ESL (English as a Second Language), 85% of students were awarded A*-B. The excellent results reflect Lucton School Chongqing's effective approach to creating an immersive language environment.
In the science subjects, 70% of the students achieved A*-A in Mathematics and 100% A*-A in Additional Mathematics. The percentage of students who were awarded A*-A in Physics reached 80%, while 67% Chemistry and Biology students were awarded A*-A. In Computer Science, 100% students achieved A*-B grades.
The summer 2023 IGCSE exams were the first official international exams for Lucton students and they had a successful start! Although it was difficult to obtain high marks as the exam board's mark-setting reverted to 2019 levels from this exam onwards, the dedicated work of teachers and the efforts of Year 11 students throughout the year contributed to a pleasing final result. I am proud of the determination and diligence of Luctonians!
