This meeting carried out the important speeches and instructions of Xi Jinping, focused on the implementation of the strategic plan of the 20th Party Congress, strengthens the synergistic development of the Chengdu-Chongqing region, and promotes the Twin Cities Economic Circle of the Chengdu-Chongqing region, Caroline Elizabeth Wilson and Zhang Guozhi both reviewed the achievements of cooperation in various fields in recent years. At present, the exchanges and cooperation between the UK and Chongqing continue to deepen, and the total import and export between Chongqing and the UK in 2022 reached 11.7 billion yuan. Caroline Elizabeth Wilson hopes that the UK and Chongqing can develop more practical cooperation in areas such as new energy vehicles, industrial digital transformation, carbon trading and climate investment and financing, healthcare and higher education.

Steven Yang reported to Zhang Guozhi on the development of Lucton School in Chongqing for the second time this year after the WCIFIT: Lucton School is a well-known British school. Lucton School Chongqing, as a branch of Lucton School UK, has gained recognition from the public since its establishment. At the same time, Steven Yang serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the South West Office of the British Chamber of Commerce in China, and Lucton Group is a window to promote Chongqing to a wide range of British and European companies to attract more expatriate talent to settle in Chongqing. Therefore, Chongqing Lucton Group is in the process of bidding for the third expatriate children's school in Chongqing.
