Winter is a time full of good memories. During the winter holidays, students at Lucton School Chongqing had a happy and memorable time. After the holidays, Year 10 and Year 11 students were given a task in English class to share their experiences of the Christmas and Chinese New Year holidays.
The students wrote a short essay describing their holiday activities, such as what they did and with whom they spent the time. They not only explained in more detail and expanded their answers, using the prompts provided by Mr. Lubojanski, but also submitted photos of their holidays that they think represents the experience that they had to accompany their spoken words.
The students had a great time talking about their various holiday experiences in the classroom, including watching fireworks for Chinese New Year, sharing meals with family members who they have not seen for a long time, visiting famous ancient historical sites, going to the beach, baking cakes with friends, gaining valuable social and work experience by participate in volunteer teaching activities, etc. At the same time, Mr. Lubojanski recorded their voices in audio.
