Lucton Winter Break Photo Competition2024-03-15

Recently, Lucton Winter Break Photo Competition was held, with active participation of all the teachers, students and staff. With "celebration of life" as the theme, the competition encourages everyone to capture the beauty of winter with their lenses and record the warm moments of life.

The competition received more than 30 pieces of works with distinctive themes and varied contents, involving natural scenery, plants and animals, humanities and architecture, folk customs, etc., to show the beauty of winter with unique perspectives. The selection of works was carried out by online voting, and a first prize, second prize and third prize were selected.

Daisy H's work is based on the theme of magnolia flowers, showing the vitality and energy of winter through fresh and bright colours. The magnolia blossomed in the sunlight, contrasting with the clear blue sky, presenting a quiet and beautiful picture that is refreshing and relaxing.

Jerick Z's works show the warmth and peace of winter with the theme of a winter sun. One of the photos shows the magnificent view of the setting sun, another shows the beauty of the lines of the eaves of a house under a clear sky, and the last photo shows a bicycle leaning against a wall in the warm sun, each of which creates an atmosphere of serenity and coziness.

Iris Marie H recorded these beautiful moments during her trip, including leisurely cats bathing in the afternoon sunshine, red lanterns hanging on tree branches, creating a Chinese New Year atmosphere, and stone lions covered by a thin layer of snow, quietly guarding.

Lucton School Chongqing adheres to the philosophy of holistic education and is committed to promoting the comprehensive development of students. This photo competition not only provides a platform for students to show themselves, but also cultivates their aesthetic taste and artistic cultivation. We look forward to seeing more great photographers and works from the next photo competition!
