Recently, Lucton School Chongqing held a Parents' Open Day. On this day, parents entered the campus and classrooms to observe the classroom performance of students. The event aimed to strengthen the communication between home and school, let parents have a deeper understanding of Lucton's daily teaching, and provide a platform for the school and parents to exchange ideas and promote the growth of students together.

English teachers, Mr. Lubojanski and Ms. Xi, used interactive teaching methods to stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in learning English, allowing parents to witness the improvement of their students' English speaking skills and reading comprehension, and to feel the effectiveness of Lucton's English teaching and the students' hard work.

Mr. Wang, the Mathematics teacher, explains mathematical concepts and applications in detail, discusses mathematical problems with the students, and solves them using problem solving ideas and rigorous logical reasoning.

Mr. Sharma, our Business teacher, guided students to analyse real-life cases, develop their business thinking and problem-solving skills, and help them gain a deeper understanding of what they are learning.

In the economics classroom, students actively participated in economic simulation experiments and discussions under the guidance of Mr. Shah, our Economics teacher, which enhanced their teamwork and decision-making skills.

In Ms. Lin's Chinese class, students appreciated the connotation of Chinese literatures through interpretation and critical analyses of literary works, and developed literary appreciation and expression skills.

In the art and design classroom, parents learnt about the process of designing artworks by the students and experienced the fun and beauty of creating art.

In the chemistry classroom, Mr. Rountree guided the students to do experiments, observe experimental phenomena, and develop scientific thinking and experimental skills.

In the biology classroom, Mr. Wejuli, Lucton's Biology teacher, prepared a unique "pig heart dissection" experiment, allowing parents and students to explore the mysteries of the heart.

On the Parents' Open Day, parents had the opportunity not only to visit the classrooms, but also to taste the rich and varied meals, experience the school's food culture, and experience the daily school life of Lucton students.

Parents' Open Day is not only a classroom demonstration, but also an exchange and dialogue between home and school. Good interaction between home and school is the best way of education synergy.
