Accompanied by He Fang, Deputy Director of the Committee for Liaison with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese of the Chongqing CPPCC, a group of 25 Hong Kong youths from the Chongqing Youth Exchange Group came to visit Lucton School Chongqing.
After stepping into the Lucton campus, they visited the Queen Anne Building and the T Building, etc. The beautiful campus environment, clean classrooms, school culture of the knowledge and practice, and comprehensive teaching facilities impressed all of the group members and let them feel the unique charm of the British-style campus.
Afterwards, they went to the Sports Field and experienced a variety of sports such as football, basketball, tennis and badminton, which showed their youthful vigour. In the joyful atmosphere, precious group photos were taken to record the wonderful moments.
During the meeting in the conference room, Mr. Steven Yang, Chairman of Governors of Lucton School Chongqing, shared the school's development history, educational philosophy, cultural characteristics and achievements, etc. Both sides learnt from each other, exchanged ideas and enhanced friendship.
Lucton School Chongqing prepared a great dinner for the group, letting them savour the culinary culture of Chongqing and feel the hospitality of Chongqing people. With the end of the dinner, the group left the campus with full of good memories, ending this unforgettable exchange trip.
This exchange programme, which was jointly organised by Hong Kong and Chongqing, not only allowed Hong Kong youths to experience Chongqing's prosperity and development and learn about its history and culture, but also allowed Chongqing students to take the opportunity to learn from Hong Kong's advanced experience and innovative spirit. Lucton School Chongqing will continue to promote exchanges and co-operation to provide students with a broader perspective and richer learning experience.
