This new column will collect creative writing pieces and artwork of students in Lucton School Chongqing, and will share them with readers on online platforms such as WeChat official account and our official website etc., so that students′ original work can “walk” out of the campus and into online platforms, through which such creative and inspiring works will be supported and encouraged.
Today, we want to continue to share with you what some of the students have been doing in ESL classes with Mr. Lubojanski. The students have been learning about creative writing, especially fiction-based stories like fairytales. At the end of this topic, the students had a try at writing their own fairytales and the results are very impressive! In this article, we will share one example of a fairytale written by a student in year 9.
Ray wrote a fairytale about a little princess who wandered away from the castle one day to explore the woods. She got lost and found herself in the cave of a mighty and ferocious dragon. It seemed all was hopeless until a knight in shining armour came to try and rescue her. Did he succeed? You’ll have to read on to find out…
