UKMT-IMC
The UKMT is the largest and most influential national mathematics competition in the UK, with over 600,000 students from more than 4,000 schools participating in three levels of mathematics competition (junior, intermediate and senior) every year.
The UKMT encourages students to use their logical reasoning ability, to develop sophisticated thinking and to use basic mathematics methods to solve new and interesting questions. Intermediate Mathematical Challenge (IMC) covers some high school knowledge and encourages students to refine their mathematical reasoning abilities, to understand and master higher mathematical skills. The questions in this year are more difficult than in previous years and focus on the use of geometric and algebraic knowledge, as well as on students' spatial imagination and arithmetic solving skills.

Another great news! Congratulations to Ray S who represented Lucton School Chongqing at the International Voice 2022, competing with participants from around the world in the Asia Pacific region and succeeding in qualifying for the Asia Pacific Finals with an outstanding performance. We look forward to seeing him achieve another success in the upcoming Finals.

Congratulations to Thomas L who won the fourth prize in the Stars of Tomorrow 2022-2023 China Junior Skiing Open in Chongqing, competing with young skiers from Chongqing and surrounding provinces, and making it to the finals.
